High Technology Mart Wire Bar Coater is a Spiral Bar Film Applicator for the Paint Film Application and the Coating Film Application when preparing substrates and applying coatings on sample surfaces in accordance with ASTM D823.

This expert Wire-Wound Bar Coater is available in the range from 6µm – 200µm with a maximum film application width of 200mm. The total length of the Spiral Bar Coater is 240mm.

Modified Wire Bar Film Applicators made to customer requirements are available.

When preparing coated subtrates and applying a paint film on samples surfaces highest precision is required to achieve reliable and repeatable result for research and quality management.

This expert Wire Wound Spiral Bar Coater is manufactured with high precision, is available made of high quality stainless steel for an extended lifetime, is user-friendly, easy to clean and includes a carrying box and a calibration certificate. A Wire Bar Coater Handle is optional available.

The Wire Bar Film Applicator is essential for film application testing and appearance testing and is available in a wide range of models with different gap sizes for the manual film application and the automatic film application in combination with the Automatic Film Applicator.

This expert Wire Bar Coater is available in two main configurations:

• made wire-woud with a rod wound around a stainless steel bar
• made of one piece of stainless steel CNC Design

The Spiral Bar Film Applicator is used to apply a wet paint film onto substrates or onto sample surfaces. The wet paint film correlates with the dry paint film:

• Gap Sizes from 6µm – 100µm: 50%
• Gap Sizes from 100µm – 200µm: 60%
